Characteristic blue dial with natural patina

The blue dial is undoubtedly one of the highlights of this Omega Genève. The even patina that has developed over the years creates an individual look and makes each piece unique. Especially with vintage watches, an authentically aged surface is particularly appreciated by collectors.

The watch is in good overall condition, appropriate for its age. The dial is rated as Good, while the case is also in good condition. The acrylic crystal is in very good condition and, together with the classic design, creates an authentic vintage look.

Freshly serviced Omega Caliber 565

Inside, the legendary Omega Caliber 565, an automatic manufacture movement used in numerous successful Omega models of this era, is at work. The movement was cleaned, oiled, and regulated in August 2026. Afterwards, the watch was professionally cleaned and thoroughly inspected.

In the final test, the movement achieved a rate deviation of -6 seconds per day, an amplitude of 255°, and a beat error of only 0.1 ms. This shows a very good technical performance for the age of the watch. The manufacturer's stated power reserve is around 50 hours.

Refurbishment and work carried out

As part of the refurbishment, the case was highly polished and professionally restored. In addition, the case condition was carefully revised. The original acrylic crystal was polished, and the watch received a new leather strap that emphasizes the classic character of the Genève.

The work was carried out with particular attention to preserving the classic look of the vintage watch while creating a well-maintained overall condition.
