Refund policy
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day
- on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods, or
- in the case of several goods ordered under a single order and delivered separately, on which you or a third party designated by you have taken possession of the last item.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Aigner and Fuchs Watches GbR, Hoffeldweg 16, 94036 Passau, Email: info@aigner-fuchs.com, Phone: 0151 61600155) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., by letter or email).
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
We kindly ask that you send the goods within a maximum of 7 working days after declaring the withdrawal and provide us with the shipping receipt. If the return is delayed or made without proof, the customer bears the risk of any resulting depreciation or delay in processing.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the standard delivery offered by us).
The refund will be made only after we have actually received the returned goods. From that date, we have up to 14 days to issue the refund.
For this refund, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless otherwise expressly agreed with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for the refund.
Return of Goods
You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you informed us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.
You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
The customer is obliged to always return the goods with insurance coverage and to ensure that the product reaches us undamaged. Upon prior agreement, we will provide a return label for standard shipping.
Special Instructions for Watches with a Value over €3,999
- Returns must be made exclusively via the specialized value logistics service INTEX.
- We will organize the collection for you – please contact us in advance at info@aigner-fuchs.com.
- If the return is made via another shipping service (e.g., DHL, UPS, Hermes, etc.), the customer bears full risk for loss or damage of the goods during transport.
- The costs for insured return shipping via INTEX (approx. €160 – €200) are borne by the buyer.
Obligation to Pay Compensation for Diminished Value
You are only required to pay compensation for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling the goods in a manner not necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
This applies in particular if:
- the watch shows signs of use, water damage, or external damage (the water resistance of the watch does not apply to use in saunas or hot baths, such as whirlpools or thermal baths; steam can also damage waterproof watches),
- the watch is returned improperly packaged and is damaged as a result,
- the watch is damaged through improper handling (e.g., overwinding the crown),
- the watch has been opened (regardless of by whom),
- the watch has scratches or dents,
- the watch fogs up or tarnishes because, for example, the crown was not properly screwed down,
- the watch has been dropped.
Please ensure safe and shock-resistant packaging and careful handling of the watch.
Inspection of the Return
Each returned watch will be thoroughly inspected by us. This inspection may take up to 4 weeks.
The refund will only be made after the inspection has been completed and, if applicable, after deducting any compensation for diminished value.
Notes on Warranty and Liability
- A manufacturer’s warranty exists only if explicitly stated in the product description.
- We do not assume any warranty for water resistance unless expressly described.
- Our liability is limited to the condition of the goods at the time of delivery.
